Are there medical backgrounds which include hospital bed, IV, heart monitor, etc? Looking to do a series for a medical client. Thanks!

Hi, thank you for you interest! The toolkit have a few medical tools, like a statescope, etc, but unfortunately right now it doesn’t have medical backgrounds. This being said if you acquire the backgrounds from somewhere else, or design your own, you can use them easily with the toolkit, just import them in the toolkit as images and you can even use the included animations with them. It is a good idea to add such assets, so we will also keep this in mind for future updates!

Thanks!

How can I export my modified characters from AE into AI files?

Hi, thank you for reaching out to us! Since it is an after effects file, you won’t be able to export into an AI format. This being said, you can export into a .png instead them import it as an image inside of illustrator, like you would do using any other image. To do this from After Effects, select the frame you would like to render, then go to Composition > Save Frame As > File. Then from the render queue, click on the Output module, and the settings window for the output module will pop up. Here from the dropdown menu next to the Format, select Png Sequence, and hit ok. Then you can render that image, and import it into After Effects.

Hope this is of help to you. Of course, if you need further assistance or something is still not clear, don’t hesitate to contact us again! Many thanks! :)

are the following characters included? Zombie, Robot, Superman

Hi, thank you for reaching out to us! No these characters are not included, it’s a great idea though! So we’ll keep them in mind for future updates! Thanks!

Hi, how can enable or have the rear view of characters? I really need it.

Hi, thank you for your comment. Unfortunately right now, rotation is up to 180 degrees (from side to side)

Any discounts for new year sale?

Hi, thank you for your interest. We don’t have any sales planned right now. Thanks!

One more question. I am a freelancer. If i want to include my own designs, is that possible? like my own characters that i design?

Hi, yes this is possible. Using the character studio you can build a very large variety of characters, since it includes easy to use features to tweak almost anything in the character. Should you want something different/ more personal, you can also bypass the character studio and import your own characters, that you have designed in other applications, like illustrator, etc.

Just keep in mind that when using your own images/ characters, you will loose some functionality, namely the Head and character studio related features, since you will of course be bypassing these. But of course you can still use the included animations and body rig, etc. The toolkit comes with a number of help videos that specifically address custom characters, and how this can be done. Of course, let us know if something is still not clear

Thanks!

First of all i want to say that it has been a great experience using this kit. I got one question about something specific. My character seems to rotate his hands. I uploaded a image: https://imgur.com/b1LXkLJ How can i rotate those back or did i do something wrong?

edit: it does the sitting down emote, then the thinking whilst sitting down

Hi thank you for your message, We are very glad that you are having a great experience using the toolkit. As for your question, there are some animations which would work better when the hands are flipped, the sitting animation is one of these. There is a checkbox switch in the toolkit that is specifically for this; to flip the hands.

If you select the Character Animation Suite layer, from the effect controls panel, you will find a feature named, “Hand Orientation”. Under that you will find: “Flip Right Hand” and “Flip Left Hand”. You can simply click this checkbox and the hand will flip for you so that it is aligned well with your animation. You can keyframe this by clicking on the stopwatch next to it, so this way you can animate it depending on the animation you are using.

Hope this is of help to you! Of course, let us know should you need further assistance! :)

Perfect, thanks for the support! Finished my project within 2 days because of this plugin, keep up the great work!

how may video we can create with regular license one video or can create many.

Hi, you can use the tool with a regular license for multiple videos provided that the videos are within the same genre/ series of videos. So for example, if you are a Youtuber who does cooking videos, you can have a series of videos using the same license.

You can find all the information related to licensing in the following link: https://videohive.net/licenses/faq#what-constitutes-series-a

Hi, glad you are enjoying the toolkit. Let us know should you need anything! :)

Hi, I’ve been trying to use the preset animations. the keyframes show up but when i preview it or even move my current timeline indicator, there’s no animation. I tried it in after effects 2020 and 2019 with no results. I followed all your instructional videos to the T. yet still nothing at all. I’m pretty bummed about this. Your product looked promising.

Hi, thank you for reaching out to us! When it comes to applying animation, most of the times the problem is that you might not be selecting the Character Animation Suite Effect. After you select the Character Animation Suite Layer, you will need to select the Character Animation Suite Effect, from the Effect Controls panel, then simply double click on the animation you want to add. Also, make sure not to drag and drop the animation, but simply double click it.

If problem persists, can you send me a quick email on: StephanZammit@neuronfx.com , so I will be able to send you a few screenshots and help material to explain this further :)

Hope this is of help to you. Of course let us know should you need further assistance!

Many thanks, Stephan

Hi, when it loads the composition of any character in later, it loads me without the face, and I cannot manipulate it

Hi, thank you for reaching out to us. Is it possible to send me a couple of screenshots please? This will help us to identify the issue and help you out as soon as we can! You can send it directly to me: stephanzammit@neuronfx.com

Many thanks! Stephan

Hello, Thanks for the great work, Regarding the characters with skirt, when the walk the legs go out of the skirt, how can we make the skirt cover the legs and give a better animation?

Moreover it’s too difficult to add head cover like Arab costumes (Ghutrah for men, Hijab for women) I have worked something out, but not that efficient with the some animation… any hint or idea?

Hi, thank you four reaching out to us. I am glad that you like the toolkit!

As for the skirt, when you switch on the skirt, on the skirt will automatically appear 4 control points (these are called: Skirt_LowerRight and Skirt_LowerLeft). Each point will control an edge of the skirt. You can pull these out to a place where the legs remain hidden. Additionally, if you would like your animation to look more realistic you can also keyframe these. So basically you can first animate the characters using the animation presets. Then, simply turn the stop watch on for these skirt control points, and you can animate them in time over your character as it moves, making sure that the legs are covered, so that the skirt will stretch and move with the character’s legs giving it a very authentic animation feel.

As for the Arab costumes question, the best way to do this is to split the Hijab into two parts; the upper part, which is for anything that should appear in-front of the forehead, and the lower part which is for the part that needs to appear behind the head.

Now place the upper part, in the Hat composition, and the lower part can be placed in the Hair extensions composition. These can be moved over the character to give them the exact location you want them in.

Hope this is of help to you! Of course, if there is something that is still not clear or you need additional help, feel free to let us know! :)

Hi, Congratulations once again. I love this toolkit!!! But, i have a doubt, i’d like to add more beard styles to the slider control. For example; in the toolkit there are 25 styles of beard Linked to the slider control, i’d like to add 5 more, then intead of 25 now would be 30 styles in the slider control.

How can i do that? Is it possible?

Hi, thank you for your comment. As for styles amount, unfortunately this is something that can only be adjusted from our side, at design stage. As you may have noticed, the slider can go up to a maximum of 25 styles; this is coded into the script for the toolkit, so it wouldn’t be possible to adjust from the toolkit itself. You can however add more beard styles inside the ‘Beard’ composition. You will then simply need to switch to your newly added styles manually, rather then using the slider.

Hi, how can I find out exactly what this pack includes? Does it have everything from the Ultimate Character Animation pack? Does it have animated clocks and driving cars?

Thanks.

Thank you for contacting us and for your interest!

The project is quite different from the Ultimate Character Animation Toolkit, as it has been re-constructed with new rigs, new animations and objects. This being said, most of the assets that are included there has also been included here and there are also additional new ones. The car and animated clock are also available in this toolkit.

I think the best way to see most of the features that are included, etc, would be to check some of our tutorial videos. We have uploaded all the tutorial videos that come with the toolkit on youtube, so you can give them a look and see the whole project from the inside!

I am leaving a link for you here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLj2u0xlsUQfcg3MRc1rRomAj9adRIVHCj

As for image assets, the project includes a very good number of image assets that you can drag and drop and build up your own scenes. These objects are all ordered and organised in separate sections. Then it also have some titles, transitions and object animations. We don’t currently have a visual list of what’s included online, so I am attaching some screenshots for you with all the categories and names of the specific objects. You can find them in the following link:

Of course, let us know should you need more information!

This was horrible. Like others have said. It’s about 3 seconds per frame. It honestly quicker to animate using my downloaded character and I’m on a brand new 2019 maxed out MacBook Pro. Each character can’t be imported into a new after effects project, so created sequences with multiple character is an awful experience. The body rotation also doesn’t work, only the breasts move.

Hi, thank you for your comment and feedback. In general it is always expected to take a bit of time when rendering the characters, due to the complexity and quality of the character rigs. Although this of course depends on what kind of speed you are experiencing. Normally speeds are within 3 minutes per 10 seconds to maybe 10 minutes per 10 seconds of animation.

Just a small tip: we have recently added a new feature called: Boost Performance. This will switch off head animations while you work, and should speed up preview performance by at least 2x. Then of course make sure to switch it on again before rendering or if you need to preview head animations. This feature is located in the Character Studio layer.

Regarding the 180 degree body rotation:

This is split into different sections, so you will have complete control on what to rotate.

Head:

You can rotate the head, using the Head Control layer, simply drag this around, and the head will rotate to look at this control layer.

Body:

As for the body, in the ‘Character Animation Suite’ effect, you will find a feature named ‘Body Rotation’. Simply rotate this, and the body will rotate with it. This will be mostly visible when you have a belt, chest, belly or a patterned top, since you will see them moving from side to side.

To continue emphasize the effect, we have also included a number of features that can come in handy. I’m going to list them below:

Leg & Arm Distance:

In the Character Studio > Legs > Leg Shape, you will find distance. By increasing the distance the legs will be more apart, making the legs facing forward. When decreasing the distance to 0, they will be in front of each other, as if you are looking at the character from the side. Similarly there’s the Arm Distance, which you can modify for the same effect.

This way you can rotate specific parts individually if needed or combine them together for a full body rotation.

Hope this is of help to you. Of course if you have any other questions or concerns don’t hesitate to ask, we will do our best to help you out! :) You can also email me directly on: stephanzammit@neuronfx.com

Kind regards, Stephan Zammit

Hi, once again, wonderfull project! What’s the new about the last update?

Hi, thank you for your comment! :) The update was related to the item’s display page, tags, etc, not the item itself. So all the same for now. Of course we’ll make sure to write down any changes at the bottom of the details page when we add something new, to keep you posted :)

I’m trying to add beard to Tony, but it’s not appearing, I’m using After Effects 16.1.3

Hi, thank you for contacting us. When adding beards and other features, make sure that you input a whole number in the Head Design Studio Panel. Basically you will need to find the property named Select Beard Style (from within the Head Design Studio), then click on the number, and input a whole number, for example 2 (This will show bear style 2). This is important since the toolkit only recognizes whole numbers. I would suggest checking that it is a whole number by clicking on the number, since sometimes decimal numbers can be hidden, when the number is not selected.

Hope this is of help to you! Of course let us know if problem persists :)

Hi i would like to buy this, but i can’t find any of your scenes in scene designer….please can you point me to a video or to show what is included? Thanks

I will take a look thanks. I am wanting to build a Movie set and film set explainer, but i have looked all over envato and there is nothing. Perhaps in the next update, consider adding in support for film producers/productions and VFX :)

That’s a great idea. Will surely keep it in mind for V2.0! :) Thanks!

Hello , I just bought the kit, but it contains 279 expression errors in the character studio comp. and 606 in the head studio comp. It also gives an internal verification failure.

I did not import a character twice or something. Just followed the instructions.

Hi, thank you for contacting us.

Normally such issues are related with the project zip file. Make sure that you extract/ unzip the downloaded file before you open it in After Effects, since After Effects won’t be able to read files that are still compressed.

Can you try this and let us know how it goes? Thanks!
