Wow this is probably perfect to bring to life something I sketched years ago for my website! My only question is how would I swap the green chroma key for the flash website interface? Any ideas?

I think I could do what I want to do if it was an After Effects file but with just this…hmmm…

Can I assign transparency to the green part of the video in FLash so that becomes an alpha channel? Then it might work….

Hi and thank you for your interest in the file.

There is also a video file of the same you can get here with alpha channel included: http://videohive.net/item/vault-door-02/119952

I also have the 300 frame rendered TGA sequence for even greater control upon request. If you are interested in the 3D Model and have the capability to work with the file it would definitely allow you the greatest flexibility.

Hope this helps :)

Hello and first off thank you for your purchase. Are you using After Effects? or Final Cut?

I’m using premiere pro and AE. Premiere Pro for the project and AE for rendering some effects.

usually when i’m using a .MOV file with alpha channel i dont have to do anything to have other material in the background.

Thanks for your time!

The direction below will work… let me know if there are any problems. Thanks

What you need to do is load the Vault Door.mov into the project as well as the Alpha file for the vault door then follow these steps:

1-Place the vault door footage as the first item of the timeline

2-Import and place your own footage or image under the vault door footage and then place the alpha vault file below your footage.

3-Select the vDoor footage (The first in timeline) in the timeline and select the Effects tab on the top menu

4-Under Channel select the Set Matte effect

5-Now with the Set Matte effect open in the effects control -click the down arrow for the Take Matte From Layer and select the Alpha file for the vault door

6-Under Use for Matte -set this to Luminance

7-The Invert matte is Unselected with other check boxes selected
