Does the item that is morphed/transitioned have to be a image. Can it be any 3D model object recognizable and renderizable by after effects?

@ smasis – each placeholder is a pre-comp so anything you place in that pre-comp gets ‘transitioned’ in the main comp.
I’m no expert on 3D models inside AE … I’m thinking you may have to pre-render it before placing that footage in the pre-comp.
Does that make sense?
