That worked perfectly, thank you.
Forgive my ignorance…with the amount of time I spend in that program, you would think I would have known what you were talking about.
great stuff! It is also possible values ??are more like 12 to make? (STATISTICS Pie Graph)
You can use two components together to have more than 12 values. For examole, 2 bar components side-by-side will give you 24 values. With pie graph it’s more tricky, but you could still work it out.
Hope that helps and thanks for purchasing!
Thank you for the quick response!
Hi, I have a question regarding effects and statistics. I would like to add a dust effect to the different graphs. To what layer should I apply it? or do I have to apply these effects in some other way? such as on solids etc with opacity etc…? Any input? Thanks
What do you mean by dust effect? If you mean having dust particles flying over your graph, just drag a graph component into a new composition and then create a new solid with your effect on top of the component. So your new composition will have 2 layers; one component and one dust effect.
If you want the dust just showing on the graphs, you can do the same thing and play with the alpha matte options.
If you mean something else, let me know and i will provide a solution.

Thanks so much for your fast reply, I look in to that!... Another question… I would like the line graph to grow (you know one starting point and then the line moves on to the next point etc…) ... If I don´t want animate a mask. Is there any function within your statistics that I missed out?
That was a bit tricky to code in by default, so what I did was put the line graph component in a new composition then put a ‘linear’ wipe effect on it for the animation. That does the trick. You can see how that looks like here around 30 seconds: http://videohive.net/item/statistics-theme-pack-1/1723519

I see… I´ll try it out…
the video of this is awesome, why not sell it? I would like to buy that part
Thanks for purchasing! A lot of people liked it and i freely give it out to the purchasers who ask for it. If you want it, just send a mail through vh so i can verify the purchase and send it to you. It’s made in cs5.
THANKS ! I send you an email.
I got your email. I’m sorry for the delay, but I’m currently on my honeymoon =) I will actually get back end of this weekend, so will send it to you asap Sunday night or Monday. Thanks!
OH MAN GRATS !!!! Yeah today sometime would be great.
Hope you had a awesome honeymoon.
Hey, actually i sent it through email quite awhile ago. Let me know if you got it.
YES sorry i missed it
Hi there. Hows it going? Is it possible to add motion blur to components as they build? Turning the switch “on’ does not seem to work. Hope I’m not being to thick. Cheers
Hi, unfortunately because of how statistics is coded, you cant use the motion blur switch in the components. You can however use motion blur on a comp with a component inside. The comp needs to have movement. You can also use the ae plugin cc force motion blur (not at a computer to check actual name).
The best option though is to use third party plugin Rsmb motion blur.. That is an essential plugin all pro ae users should have. It adds motion blur to any pixel movement. Great for 3d renders but also works on statistics. I personally use this.
Thanks for the reply. Cheers
Hi Me again. Another question. Is it possible to add a stroke to the individual bars and pie segments?
Cheers Matt
Yes you can. You need to hit the shy switch, which is the button that looks like someone is peeping over a wall near the motion blur button. Then find the layer you want and add a layer style from the menu bar. Use the stroke layer style. Im actually on holiday right now so i camt give you exact directions. Hopefully this all made sense and you dont have trouble. Make sure yoi dont rearrange the layers once you unshy everything.
Sorry if this is a bonehead question, I’m a bit new to AE. When I click on a circle slice in Statistics, it gives me a list of options I can alter for Circle Slice 1 (Start Angle, Feather controls, etc). How can I view the options for the other slices? I can’t seem to select anything but the 1st slice unless I delete it first.
Thank You.
Jeff
Hi, I’m not quite sure what you’re asking, but you can take a look at the tutorial for the Circle Graph here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeOrg4JRtTA
I’m guessing you are not clicking on the right layer. To adjust all the slices, you need to click on the GRAPH OPTIONS or STATISTICS layer. That video I linked to should answer all your questions and help you use it better. It’s a bit long, but once you go through one video, you pretty much know how to use all the components.
Let me know if you have any further questions and I’ll be glad to help out.
Hi, thanks for the quick reply. I’ve watched the video for a 3rd time, but you don’t touch upon this other set of options. I am referring to the effect controls window. It has more options beyond what you have in the Graph Options and Statistics layers. For example, you can set the Wipe to Both to have expand from both ends instead of one direction.
Is there a way to select circles 2+ or turn off circle 1 temporarily?
I have written a ton of AE expressions which link up the effects on each slice to controls in either the Graph Options or Statistics Layer. You should be able to animate all the important parameters for Slice 1-12 in these top two layers. There really shouldn’t be any need to do anything outside of those two layers unless it’s very specific or advanced. Setting the wipe to ‘both’ is one example. In fact, by default those extra layers should be hidden from view. If you delete any of the layers marked blue (the ones with a marker number on them), the expressions link will break.
To turn on or off the individual slices, you go to the Graph Options layer and turn on/off the checkboxes for Circle Slice 1 Enabled to Circle Slice 12 Enabled.
I’m really not sure what you mean by your first question about ‘viewing the options for other slices and can’t seem to select anything but the 1st slice unless you delete it first’. If you can email me a screenshot or a more detailed explanation that would be helpful.
For whatever reason, I am still not seeing things as you describe. Perhaps you could very specifically tell me how to change the Wipe to Both on Layer 3 please?
To what email address shall I send screen shots?
Thank you.
Ill wait for ur email and reply there.
I just recently purchased this template and unfortunately I’m having trouble adding negatives to the Blue Cubicle (Line Area) it only goes to -6, I need it to go at least 4 more positions down. I watched your tutorial but did not see this covered. Also can I move the Main Title so it sits on top not on bottom? Your reply would much be obliged, Thank you.
Hi im not infront of the comp right now. When you say only goes to -6, do you mean the line gets cut off? Try scaling down the component from inside the component composition.
As for the main title, you can use the anchor or position parameters to move them around.
Let me know if ur having trouble and ill reply in detail when i get back.
I got the title moved up thank you, but I’m still having trouble creating 4 more placements of to the left of the graph. Do you see how it only goes to -6? I need to add 4 more . Can this be done? I really appreciate your quick response earlier. thank you.
It’s going to take a bit of work, but it’s doable. Inside the BC – LINE AREA comp, if you go to the layer called Stripes (by default, layer 41), inside the Effect Controls, you will see an effect called Venetian Blinds. Adjust the width parameter and you’ll see more lines pop up both top and bottom.
Then, you will have to manually add the numbers on the side of the graph.
Another thing you have to consider is if the graph lines are changed, the LINE GRAPH AREA component proportions need to be changed as well. You can use the ‘Line Graph Height Add’ or the Table Control layer to do this. Just make sure your 0’s, max, and min values of the graph component line up with your new lines.
Hope that helps!

Hello! do you have any try version? we are interested in the product, but we don t know if it work for our needs. Thanks!!!
Hi,
Unfortunately we don’t have any trial version. However, you can take a look at the tutorial playlist to see exactly how it works and if it’s right for you. You can see the tutorials on the STATISTICS item page or directly here: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1EB49FE753738AE6
There you will find tutorials on how to use all the components, as well as live real-time demo use videos.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions!
I REALLY like this, however, I need to be sure that it is compatible with After Effects CS3 because that is what I have and most things on here aren’t. If it isn’t, I won’t be able to use it !! =( Please get back to me as soon as you can, I need to choose an info graphic layout soon. Thank you !!

Hi, thanks for your interest in my work. If you look at the item details page, at the bottom right box you will see the AE version compatibility. This project was made with AE CS3, so it will work for you. In fact, all my info graphics templates were made with CS3.
Hello, thinking of purchasing this. Is the demo video available in the purchase? Thanks!
I have previously given the demo video out to whoever asks me, but currently, I just moved countries and don’t have my computer with me to give it yet. Sorry about that. The demo video was strictly designed for the preview, so you probably wouldn’t get much use out of it anyways.
