Running in CS5 seems to loose the correct lighting – the ipad and screen seem a little muted – any ideas as to where I may be going wrong?

I’ve opened it on After effects CS5 and i takes so much time to preview even when i take preview quality to “quarter” , it’s so heavy i dont know why ( i have 4go ram i7 a good config) or is this have to do with Photoshop 3D layer since i don’t have Photoshop 3D installed ??

I have the same problem here. Project opened on CS 5 .5 running on iMac i7 3.4 ghz 16 ram 2 Gb on graphic card and it takes forever to preview. It looks like is the photoshop 3D layer. The screen also seems muted like the other users are describing above.
Any ideas why?
Hi. Photoshop CS5 works not correct with 3D files created in CS4 – the reflection map has a scale=0 (instead 1 in CS4 ) – so, I have sent you files – check your e-mail. Thanks.
Hi same problem here… I’ve been through and updated the whole project before seeing the muted colour problem. As I had it set to draft at which point it looked fine.

Thanks for the email. The new 3d iPad file worked a treat and was very very simple to replace.
Great template. Takes a long time to render on a high spec mac pro, but that is the price you pay for having a 3d model in After Effects at the moment. Which gives you lots more freedom than only having pre rendered iPad clips. Much appreciated

Hi Nelson. iPad is a 3D object embedded into AE – so, you can rotate, change scale and position like any other 3D in AE (but not for AE CS6 – AE CS6 doesn’t support it).

is it possible to modify ipad movement or only the screen is editable?
If you have CS4, 5, 5.5 – you can change all you need. CS 6 doesn’t support 3D objects (it is a crazy adobe marketing, I guess, or they prepare some big surprise in CS 6.6.6).
