When using this template, I get an error related with hue/saturation”. About 15 error windows in different lines, all related to Hue/saturation, f.i.

error line 1 comp: final 1920×1080 layer 22 10th lens propiedad: colorear saturation

I am loving this project, I have just one question, Is it possible/easy to increase the time spent on one slide?

for example you go to a new slide every 4secs, what if I want a 10sec video to play before the next slide?

(I am just getting into After Effects so this is a concern as I would find it hard to tweak and move things)

Yes, it will look awesome since this project is made in FullHD 1920×1080 I always test my animations on 37inch screen and it looks good. Hope this was helpful.
