the rendering takes hours 10, how can I avoid this, the faster it goes?

Thanks for your purchase. As mentioned on the project page, Elegant Extrusion is a render intensive project, and depending on your computer, may take several hours to render. The best way to reduce time is to render a lower resolution file. If you don’t need a full HD 1920×1080 file, try rendering the comp at half-resolution to make a 960×540 comp, which will dramatically reduce render times.

Hi kunstwerk,

Thanks for your purchase! The easiest way to reduce the depth of the logo/tagline is to open the “logo_MASTER” comp, click on the CONTROL layer, and adjust the Z-depth so that the logo sits closer to the 3D floor, which will result in a reduced extrusion.

Thanks for a great product, it’s the first time that I use AE, and it’s rendering for 10 hours and there is still 12 hours remaining according to AE, wondering if I’ve done something wrong?

Hello,

Thanks for your purchase, glad you like the project! Elegant Extrusion is a fairly render-intensive project, and depending on your computer’s specs and output settings, 12 hours could very well be the realistic estimate.

Obviously, every computer is different, but just for reference’s sake, an HD1080 render on a 3.33GHz 6-Core MacPro w/32GB RAM takes about 4.5 hours to render.
