just an update about this sound system from the apple site:

Did You Notice? The original Harman Kardon SoundSticks system is now in the permanent collection of New York City’s Museum of Modern Art.

I think that makes it a must-buy but right now I’m in need of something portable to carry with my notebook heh

ah not very nice to hear it but it’s a really ass kicking piece of design definitely a must buy hehe

I got these Focal XS:

Those Harman Kardon’s were on my watch list as well, but I found the design too much for me so I went with more minimal Focal’s, also because of the ability to charge my iPhone there and the design matches the Apple Cinema Display which makes me happy.

Regarding the sound quality, don’t buy these small overpriced BOSE – they are usually on display in Apple Stores etc, they suck big time… Harman Kardon’s are excellent in that price range, especially if you like the design.

My current setup looks exactly like this now (not my photo!, just found it when looking for the XS photo on google):

I will post my own photo of workplace once I replace my $40 half-broken second-hand desk for something more “respectable”
