Would this be allowed?

A friend of mine has recently died in a motorcycle accident and it’s hard for me to explain how regretful and deep are my feelings about this

I have some photos of him and I wanted to know if I would be allowed to include these photos in my next item, in his memory.

Just for the record, the photos were shot before the accident, NOT after.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Im sorry for your loss.. Sucks to hear something like that happened..

For the images part, youre allowed to use images of yourself or others, as long as you have the rights to do so. If it was shot by a friend of yours, and he says youre allowed to use em, then you can.

Just dont forget to put a note in the reviewers comment area.

Sorry for your loss. If you’re using a recognizable human face, you need to provide a model release. I’m pretty sure the next of kin would have to sign it in this case.

thanks for your useful info. It looks like I have to drop my idea of using my friend’s photos, his pregnant wife is completely devastated and it’s not appropriate for me to ask for her signature in these circumstances.
