now watch all the sales drop! its really poor timing we are headed in a global economy meltdown. besides that ive noticed that all the current themes are the same with use a couple different changes as in menus and styles.

Sales drop will only apply to the copy cats. By the way, you’re the 1% that is not willing to spend $10 or $20 more for a GOOD theme. There are companies charging upwards of $10,000 for modified WP themes, so $60 is NOTHING .

This is good news.

I suppose Envato can experiment a bit more (another price increase) if sales numbers allow to do so. Even now, highest prices are still lower than market average.

I don’t know where are you from, but $5 more for a theme is not a big deal, even in my country. For a wordpress theme of themeforest calliber, even $20 more is fine with me.

thank you very much – this is a long overdue step on ThemeForest. I think this reflects the quality of items on ThemeForest much better now. Let’s see how it affects sales and go from there.

that’s great! was weird to compete on same range price with themes what are SF in terms of features. now at 25$ difference, the standard themes are helped in sells and the big amount of work involved in 55$-60$ themes also get a more correct price.

As a buyer, I am not at all concerned about a $5-10 increase on a Theme.. But as a Seller, i am a bit concerned about whether my buyers will accept these changes in prices..? Haha.. Mixed Feelings..!

However, I feel these changes will require some time to get settled down..
