Hi everyone, My work accepted 30 january and one day stands at homepage. Now it still standing after effects first page. But it just sold only 1. I trust my work for better result. Then i looked the other works witch is the same date with my work on 30-31 january. I saw a few sales or usually no sales. What is the reason you think? And of the month? Not enough quality? or what..

There’s no way to tell how a file will sell. This being your first month, you can’t expect too many sales. Just keep creating files to give yourself some recognition, and maybe the sales will begin to trickle in.
The only true formula to creating successful projects is making sure they’re high in quality and originality.
Also, designing yourself a custom avatar couldn’t hurt either.
Be patient. While it is very possible for someone to come on here and hit pay dirt with their very first file, most authors do better in the long haul. Success here is very dependent on a number of factors. Building up a solid portfolio, growing a follower base, promoting yourself outside of VideoHive, would all put you on the right track.

competition – 30%, for example if you create a 3d extruded logo, and a client wants one, he will have to choose one between of a lot of files.

My conscience don’t allow me to create a copy of other projects or smth similar
That’s why i said “Quality -60%”...
For me, quality means uniqueness also
Just keep making files and built a portfolio. I have 4 files now and I’m still struggling, but I know that If I keep creating new things the sales will come. Just keep creating and take things to the next level, than the sales will come eventually.
