I would suggest reading reviews and comments on an item before purchasing, as it will be a good indication as to the quality of the item. Pretty much anything under 4 stars will more than likely have a few bugs.
, why do you say this? Under 4 stars. The rating system on themeforest and envato is as corrupt as it could be.
No customer should decide upon looking at the ratings because many give 1 or 2 stars for not changing the theme to their needs. Or if they installed it wrong (Missing stylesheet), or when we not respond to their support within an hour. All these things are reasons for under 4 stars rating.
That’s not fair and therefore it’s a corrupt rating system which has been discussed 1000’s of times here on the forum.
Customers should check if the author in question provides descent support and replies to each comment that has been made, that’s way more import an then checking the stars.

That’s why I mentioned to also check the comments. But that’s your opinion.. I’ve known quite a few people who’ve purchased themes that were 2-3 stars and the theme had errors. This is pretty much not something you’ll find in the majority of 4-5 star rated themes. It’s as simple as that.
