The time is finally upon us, VideoHive’s latest competition is right around the corner. Lets face it, VideoHive hasn’t ever really had a top notch contest. We had one a few years ago, but the community was much smaller then, and the contest had very little traction. It’s our hope that this one goes off without a hitch! We’ve arranged some really great prizes this time, and we think the theme of the competition is really great!
The focus is Out of the Box. We realize that authors are often limited in their artistic range when developing projects. Creating stuff that looks great is always important, but authors must also always ensure their project covers a wide range of potential buyers. Well we’re hoping that our prize offerings will let authors get a bit more creative with these projects. Of course in the end projects need to be usable by buyers in some way. So they do need to have some templated elements like placeholders, text, or a replaceable logo. But we really want to see you guys go Mograph crazy! It’s less about the function and more about the art in this one.
Buyers won’t be left out in the cold either, we made sure to nail down some awesome prizes for you guys as well!
Submissions will begin on August 15, 2011. The buying half also starts on that day. Submissions will be accepted until August 31, 2011, and buying will continue until September 15, 2011.
