Hi guys.

Another one from me:) Is it allowed to split a video tutorial into 4 different pieces? I’d like to make a video help tutorials based on my file, but don’t want to make one long piece. I’d like to break it down into 3 smaller parts, where part 1 would be general overview about file structure and what is what in my project. Second part would be a simple tutorial for those who are happy with my setup and only needs to replace a logo with their own vector file. Third – a more in depth tutorial, where I show how to achieve different results, and this part would be longer and even more in depth.

I didn’t find any info on that. And contacting envato team via support takes more than three days:) However, I’d like get answer a bit faster:)

What do you think about my idea?

Thanks,

You can do anything as long as it’s understandable for the customer. Actually, what you have just described is a much better way to make a help file than recording one single video which would be either too simple or too advanced. :)

Good idea. If you want, you can even string them all together using a Quicktime reference movie. That way the user can access them as individual files or as one long movie without using any more data. (well… a few kilobytes)

man, making tutorial takes longer then to come up with project idea, realize it, polish it up and get it ready for final output:)

I think I must think through every aspect of project – every button, every slot, every effect etc. It’s like I am in client shoes:) Feels like I am teaching a buyer how to drive a bicycle with my tutorials :D
