I bet this would’ve been accepted if it was “digital” (shiny 3D, reflective metals, glow, particles, etc.). Cartoon style just doesn’t look good on these projects. It’s amazing considering how it was made, but I have a feeling that most buyers here would just say “meh”Anyhow advice is to utilize your skills in making stuff that’s hard to build with software like animated characters for example. Keep up the great work btw.

Maybe it’s true, and that’s sad because there will be always those who will look for “something fresh and different” as I said, out of the box.
Envato need to think different, I’m not saying that my work is SUPER AMAZING , but it’s enough for those users who will look for special materials like I produce.
That’s right, I’m not a big seller so you can judge me for this,
But why people are still buying my stuff every week, every month, why is that?
I’ll tell you why:
Because they need it for their particular projects!
It seems that quantity (of sales) over quality in here… that’s sad! Very disappointing…
BTW , Thanks I’m working as hard as I can in order to animate these “weird” items of mine.

As I said, I think your idea for logo is very good. That’s my final thought.

On the other hand I understand your frustration. The criteria for stock footage, motion graphics and after effects projects are sky high different. Quality of stock footage approved on videohive is just plain ridiculous. It isn’t much better situation with motion graphics section. Only after effects files are much more strict, which is a positive thing, but it should be also applied for other 2 sections. Now we have a mix of great stuff and junk.
I bet that people would buy both of them… if we could only put it on a test I would prove my point.
But, those last 2 rejections made me think if I should even bother keep creating new stuff for Envato. If those 2 are that bad to reject… I don’t know what to say.
I’ve seen worth projects that sale! (I don’t like to compare, each author is unique in his/her own way!)
Soft Reject in most cases could be encouraging, unlike a strict rejection…. just saying.
I didn’t mean this thread to focus on my 2 items, not at all… it was just a PUSH for me to open the thread and maybe some of you will agree with the rest of my points.
Again, not related to my specific items.
Please read the first post if you just skipped it and focus my rejected items.
I thought I’ll have more replies from other authors (maybe even Staff if I’ll get lucky enough).
I guess that if the reviewers don’t like my “style”... it will be 1 to 100 success from now on, unlike the old good ENVATO that used to accept my “out of the box” style…
My thread didn’t change a thing… and seems like nobody in Envato really cares,
At least now I know how things are running in the NEW Envato… disappointed in so many levels.

You have a unique and valuable skill but I think you should use it in a different way, maybe create custom layered elements that allow the end user to change colors and such and integrate them in a nice design instead of makin a great animation with a couple of text placeholders. Video boxes look all the same here but you could create some great frame by frame animated ones and stuff like that, Cheers.

Thank you for your reply and kind words, I appreciate it.
I know what do you mean and I also have some of my projects with layers and options, I agree with you on this.
But what about some “simple” like the 2 projects I just got strict reject for example?
It’s not about lazy (a 2D Animator cannot be a lazy person… it won’t work, believe me)
It’s about, the USER (buyer) who actually may look for such things, Envato is so strict like it’s BLIND to accept sometimes a simple but useful stuff, that’s one of my points. I use almost all of my personal items in my projects, and I will also use these 2… and My clients never complain about my quality… this is blindness from Envato, they need to think BIGGER than just strict rejection like an AUTOMATIC by the inline picture… that’s should be concerned other Authors too.
Sorry about my bad English.

1. Reviewer didn’t just see the inline image preview and said “No…”. That is not how it works.
2. Saying that Envato doesn’t accept simple but useful is not correct. It’s just not correct.
My personal opinion is that this kind of transition/opener/style is simply not for Videohive… don’t get mad but it’s just my opinion, i don’t think it sells that great.
Like Sonora said you need different approach to this marketplace with that kind of valuable skill. You have great skills but you need to use them differently.
