I think we should do a RSVP with google+ events so we can all upload our photos, and we can get a real count of how many people will be coming.

That would be a good idea, however let me just give the warning that I’ve learned many times from organising film festivals – the number saying they will come and the number who arrive are two very different things and you should be careful when organising for specific numbers.
