I’ve been buying credits on GR for a very long time, and using the same card. For the past two weeks I have been unable to purchase using paypal or moneybookers/Skrill for anything having to do with graphicriver or other GR related sites. I daily spend money online using the same card via PP or MB. I contacted GR support and eventually was told that they can’t help I have to contact paypal or MB. I find it disconcerting that I have spent a few hundred dollars on this site, I have a problem buying more and that is the answer I get. Why is it so difficult to actually purchase from a site that is selling something? Why was I not given an alternative or at the very least a link to PP or MB support. I’m not an idiot and yes I could find it myself, but the lack of ‘support’ is really off putting. So the 30+ providers that I have bookmarked to buy..sorry you lose.
Only coz they didn’t post you a link to other site support? Soooo snobish.

no stoonad, try reading the post. It is because they didn’t bother to actually help, and by the way, it’s “snobbish”. What is really funny here is that YOUR caution graphics were in my to buy bookmark folder. Now that’s truly funny, really. That made my day.

Sorry to hear that Linda. Did you manage to get everything worked out with PayPal? I’m not in Support but maybe I can help.
You say, ”...at the very least a link to PP or MB support” but seriously they don’t have to give you a link to any support site. For instance, when you go to Walmart and have a problem with your card at the cashier, is the cashier or customer service going to give you the card provider’s number? Maybe if you asked but otherwise I doubt it…
Well all they could do is send you a link. Nothing else, so it is snobbish. And i dont care even if you buy 10 extended licences from me, I dont sell my opinion for money.
A few minutes ago, a client contact me via Twitter, and he is having the same problem. He is unable to purchase a few items he needs.
Just for testing, i have clicked the purchase button on a random item, and instead to see the popup with the payment options (pre-paid credits or PayPal) the file was immediately purchased using my account balance, so something is not working properly here. I was expecting that popup to see if the PayPal link was working, but instead, i bought an item i did not need.
Yes, i´ve sent a support ticket, but i guess the answer will take a few days.

LindaB I can see you have brought quite a few things from the marketplace in the past and I do hope that your custom isn’t lost over this experience.

Wow, that’s really strange. It shouldn’t work like that. There should be a popup before purchasing. If buyers are indeed having troubles with purchasing items (not hearing this for the first time), I’m extremely concerned. Aurove, please, let us know when you get a response from support.
By the way, some replies to LindaB above are shameful and not something I like to see here on GR. Not professional at all! She is obviously not a new buyer on GR and she obviously didn’t have problems with the same card and the same PP, MB account elsewhere. No wonder she was upset.

The same happened with me sometime ago. Fortunately it was the item I wanted to purchase. The problem here was the low internet connection speed. I think I clicked the purchase link way too early before something that make the popup works, gets loaded. Now I’m a noob in how these things works but that is what I think happened.
