Hey people! What you think about creating the special topic, where top authors could express their views on the new music of not very well-known yet authors and their works, which in their opinion, deserve the attention of buyers? i think, this can help buyers to turn its attention on new authors, and also maybe for Staff, when he choose featured authors and items…Here are a few that I’ve heard:
- Has been a member for 2-3 years
- Won a Competition
- Author had a Free File of the Month
- Sold between 10 000 and 50 000 dollars
- Author was Featured
- Bought between 10 and 49 items
- Referred between 1 and 9 users
- Exclusive Author
- Envato Staff
I think I’ve seen a thread like this a couple of months ago, and its a really good idea!
I believe that the thread I’m talking about got closed by moderators because of the marketplace being pretty strict on promoting/cross-promoting marketplace items. You might want to try emailing Scott or one of the other guys around here with those track recommendations (they’re pretty awesome tracks). I’ve emailed some recommendations out to staff before and they seemed really receptive about it.

Nice idea! However, promoting files in the forums (your own or other peoples) is not allowed, sorry.
