if you look on the front page you will see an unusual drop in sales in general. AS always all that is going down someday will grow up. i hope
Up and down. There’s days with lots of sale and there’s many more days with no activities… hope it will get better.

Guys, I am thinking of switching to CS5 for good. Anyone on board already?
Would be nice if there is some sort of statistics on the matter. I guess a pool after/before purchasing an item would be nice and quick. It could give a good overview of what’s going on, version wise.

I haven’t produced anything for a while, but now CS6 is out, then I’m going to produce for CS5 and up only, using CS6 and back-saving. Once CS6 only is allowed, I will certainly also produce some CS6 only projects to take advantage of the new ray-traced 3D. If a file is particularly successful, I’ll perhaps consider back-converting to CS4 , but I have absolutely no desire to work in CS4 anymore.
But I don’t know when I’ll next have time to release something.

Thanks Ben.
Does CS5 .5’s “save a copy as CS5 ” works without further tweaking to the newly CS5 created file? I have no CS5 installed on my system so I am wondering if it translates it flawlessly.
Yes, it works flawlessly – its native unlike the OpenSeaseme script. So Levels, Layer Styles etc are all perfectly saved.

In my experience it works perfectly… apart from things that don’t exist in previous versions (obviously), but it handles that all fine and downconverts for you.
