So true, is a bit of luck and having a nice portfolio, I remember when I uploaded my first song, I think a I did a few sales on the first week, and helped a lot, to be visible, but now every time I had upload a song, it lasted not even maybe 3-4 hours on the home as new incoming track, for me that’s why I kind of stop uploading new songs on this platform, now I’m giving it a second try, to see if promoting in other places such as soundcloud, social networks, my web, and other music forums…lets see.

But one thing is for sure, there is a lot of music been uploaded with maybe not the best quality or someone uploading a ton of sound effects, I that affects to the overall search.

New Authors will keep coming without a doubt. AJ is getting overloaded with new tracks every week. Even if a track sounds great this doesn’t mean that it will sell. AJ’s database is so huge and one could sit and browse through it the whole day, literally. Getting your track on the popular list I think is crucial, and have a little bit of luck.
Agreed. Cant forget Videohive :).

Browsing through the last week or so of uploads and seeing just about every one with 0 sales is kinda discouraging in a way. Almost seems as tho hardly any buyers look at new releases.

I guess buyers look for whatever they need, and don’t care if it’s a new file or old.

Makes sense. I guess I shouldn’t apply how I shop for tech gadgets to the way buyers shop for stock audio :nerdy:
