Hey everyone, I’m somewhat new here on codecanyon and just digging intro the world of plugins and themes and what not. Things have been going great but i was wondering if anyone has some good suggestions on where to advertise Wordpress plugins. I know there’s the obvious route of Google Ads and Facebook (both of which I’m open to feedback on), but I’m also wondering if you’ve had luck with any other resource, whether through pay-per-click ads or any other method.
Definitely looking forward to any thoughts or experiences in this regard.
I don’t make plugins, but I can suggest using twitter along with facebook like you said. If you get a targeted following of developers it may be good Another route is buysellads, adpacks, etc. There you can pick specific sites related to wordpress, plugins, coding, and so on, so it is VERY targeted .
Just a few tips
Year ago i used several times http://buysellads.com service for my ActiveDen items. I received more referals than sales (i guess, as there is no tool to completely verify a sale), enough to even make worth the money invested, so i would suggest to try it out, maybe first on some cheap locations, of course.
Twitter is your best friend. I have been doing advertising to BuySellAds as well, but I really don’t know how well it’s done, since it’s difficult to track actual conversions.
