Good news! My next item is called The Greatest Background in the Universe!
My next item is called The New Greatest Background in the Universe!
That’s funny, because my other new item is called The Original 1 and Only Greatest Background in the Universe! In the item description, it will explain how God himself created the item on the 7th day when he was bored. :D

Okay, I give up!

I know in American you cannot legally state you are the best without having proof. We had a dealer get popped by the state attorney and had to pay a pretty hefty fine for saying they were the best dealer in Jacksonville. I’d be very careful stating things without having significant proof. You will need to disclaim that information within your preview ad as well.

Slightly off topic but on a similar note, I’ve seen quite a few files recently approved getting through with references to ‘bonus’ items and ‘extra’ elements which to my understanding isn’t allowed as the set price is evaluated on all of the included assets!?

I was informed I couldn’t do this, how come someone else can? Right or wrong this could help influence someone to buy.

@wattscreative,

Authors can include extra elements and request that they’re not included in the pricing, for example, in one of my flyer bundles, I include a ‘free flyer template’, which I cleared with the reviewer first.

Also, in one of my recent Valentines Flyer Templates there are an extra 2 variations included in the download, and I advertise this on the preview image – that they are included free – because they are:

The item only costs $6.

If I did not include the two extra variations, the item would still cost $6, therefore the extra variations are being included at no extra cost to the customer, meaning I am correct in advertising that they are included free.

-

Including colour variations of your items tends not to push the price up, but including layout and size variations does.

I see no problem in Authors fairly and honestly offering and advertising incentives for people to purchase their items.

I know in American you cannot legally state you are the best without having proof.

What about things like Budweiser claiming to be ‘The King of Beers’?

Or is that ok because technically impossible?

are they the top selling beer in the US?

It’s possible they sell the high quantity of beer in America which makes the claim valid. I’m no lawyer so I can’t contest to that statement, all I know is that you do not want to mess with the state attorney because they do not give second chances.
