None of the projects can work with imovie. Requires AE plug in means that you should buy a third-party plugin to view the project without errors. If project doesn’t require a third party plug in then no need to spend money for plug ins you can view the project with the plug ins installed already in AE. Hope it helps and Happy New Year!
so if it requires AE plug in & I have already installed AE, do I still have to work on d pro ject or not to get the desired effect? If AE isn’t required where can I view the project and download it for my own project? moh
Third party plug in is thing that you should buy it and install it after you installed after effects itself. For example the most popular 3rd party plug in is Trapcode products. But there are plug ins as Cycore FX they are already build inside your After Effects so no need to buy it and then install it, it installs automatically when you install After Effects program

Didn’t quite understand the question
Hello Mohammha,
All of the project files on VideoHive require Adobe After Effects and they will not work in iMovie or any other program. You can get a trial version of After Effects on Adobe’s website. Once you have After Effects, there are additional third-party plugins that people make that can be added onto the software to extend it’s features. Some project files hosted here make use of these plugins and if you buy a project that requires them, you won’t be able to use them without also having the plugin installed as well.
The good thing is that in most cases, authors will provide a plugin version and a non-plugin version, or what we like to call Prerenders, meaning any animation or effect made with a plugin has been rendered out to just the animation so that people without the plugin can still get the project file’s results. Hope this helps. For the time being if you get the After Effects Trial, I’d suggest sticking to only project files that do not require plugins.
