Rejected for aesthetics

Hey guys!

I’m looking for a bit of advise here. My file got rejected for aesthetical reasons, which I can relate to. The problem is, though, that I have a hard time improving it. Can you give me a few pointers?

use funny fonts, eliminate gold brown color

Nice game, Joost! I would suggest changing the color of the background’s border and making it slimmer. Also you can work on buttons’ look – I would change the gradient to a more smooth one, I guess web 2.0 goes to 3.0 already. Good luck with the file! Its a nice one!

I do think you’ll get more sales by changing the color though. Maybe try something like the color scheme from this file?
