What you are showing is a screenshot of After Effects CS3 /4 ? If so it means that AE cannot see more than 4gb ram..not that computer does not read them. CS3 /CS4 are 32bit applications (does not matter what operating system you are on – 32 or 64 bit..) which means they will only see 4GB ram, CS5 will use all you’ve got – it is 64bit. Hope this helped.

Has your PC been repaired or manipulated, recently? Sometimes a technician changes a few BIOS settings for testing purposes and forgets to revert them.

Your issue is related to the BIOS . Dig into the options and see how much RAM your BIOS is reading. If it’s the same (3.96) see if there are any updates for the BIOS . If there aren’t, your hardware is malfunctioning.

Check the “Memory and multiprocessing” tab under the Preferences and see how much RAM is reserved for the other applications.

Check the exact serial and model number of your motherboard, and then simply look for an update in Google, like so:
MotherboardName Model bios.
That should take you to the manufacturer’s website and offer you the latest version of your BIOS .

Forgot to mention sorry. I know that, but thing that confuse me is when I download new driver it is some kind of 7-zip extraction archive. Where I have to extract those files to be instaled correctly ?

I would take the PC to the pro, flashing BIOS should be done by an experienced person. If you mess something up by accident your motherboard could become useless :| Besides, it won’t take long and isn’t very expensive :)

I completely agree, even I myself hesitate when flashing BIOS . It’s a daunting task haha, especially if you paid for a expensive MOBO .
