Hi all !
I’ve a question about updating an existing project. Some people wants from me that I upgrade this item : http://videohive.net/item/platforms-pack/1677437 They need a TV animation added to this item sequence. I’m currently working on it but the size of the project updated may be larger than 500mb (around 600mb). Do you think it is possible to make an exception because I don’t want to compress hardly the differents animation and I don’t want to make this project in two parts…Another question, if it’s possible to update this item, do you think I should delete the old one and publish as a new or just update this one ? Create a new one could make me more sales…
thanks for your help

Hi Sebastien, i hope Mark is somewhere around here and he can help you much more then me, for the 2nd question, you don’t need to delete old file, just upload your file via FTP , go to EDIT ITEM select new ZIP file and press SUBMIT FILES FOR REVIEW . In “Message to the Reviewer” – just write what do you need to update file. I hope they will make an exception in this case.

Ok thanks
Speaking about updating projects, I have a question. Let’s say I want to update only inline image 590×300 or only zip file. Do I need to upload all other files as well? Or should I leave other fields, like FLV preview or small 80×80 thumbnail empty as they are? Second question, does project stay visible after submitting for update until it’s approved? Thanks.

1. You should upload only the files you want to change. Leave others blank.
2. Yes, it stays visible

I’ve just finished the template and I’m trying to upload it on the envato ftp, but it seems not be accepted (the transfert is looped on itself). Finally my updated project is a little bit larger than 500mb (527mb), so anyone here from videohive staff would like to make an exception for me please?

Hey Dark, not sure why the upload isn’t working. Anything under 600MB on the FTP should fly up without issue. You may want to try a different FTP client, or even a different computer if possible. Regarding the file size, you’ve got approval from me for this one.
