You need a credit card gateway. There are many places that you can sign up with and go through a bigger processor like authorize.net but they all have monthly fees and are pretty complicated.

Yes, I’ve setup a client through authorize.net before without a hitch. They are one of the largest around.
Looks like they even have a simple 4 step process for devs…looks easy enough! Good luck to you.
