Problem : Process from FTP to Dashboard

I have a related issue. I’m new to Photodune, and uploaded close to 1,000 images via FTP . (At the time I started the upload, the daily limit was 1,000 – by the time I finished the limit was reduced to 500.) A day later, only 600 images were available for process from my Dashboard, and the remainder seem to have disappeared altogether. As the file order is mixed up, I have no easy way of seeing which files have been missed.

Also, processing 20 files at a time is taking ages – each time I press submit it takes ages, and sometimes times out altogether.

Can Photodune detect duplicate files if I upload again? Any other solution?

Hi Robynmac – thanks for uploading but am sorry to hear about the problem. I’ll need to investigate this with someone from our technical team so it will take me a while to respond.

Good suggestion about the submission of 20 files at a time. I’ll look into it and see if this is doable in a short time frame.

I uploaded over 1200 files by FTP on the weekend, none of them are showing up in my dashboard and there’s no ‘process’ option.

Any idea where these files have gone?

I did write to support, the problem is that Photodune automatically clear any files from FTP that haven’t been processed within 24hrs, of course it takes longer than 24hrs to upload 1200 files so it looks like by the time the files had finished uploading they had already been deleted.

Oh and in true Photodune fashion they hadn’t told anyone this!!

I also did not know that. Remember that you can up to 250 submissions per day

I have had a similar problem. I uploaded 3 zip/RAR files and can’t see them in the process screen.

Just for information, is an RAR file format acceptable for uploading as well as zip files?
