Hi everyone. Newby here, so please excuse for a dumb question:)

I was wondering, could I submit my projects preview to videohive team to see if it will be accepted? I mean I wouldn’t like to go fiddling around and adjusting project until it’s perfect if at the end this project will be rejected by videohive. So I ask IF and WHERE should I send my preview for evaluation.

Thank you.

It would be nice, since after making preview we need to clean our templates from our preview assets and create documentations/tutorials and other stuff. But it also has it cons like there are so many files in the queue and reviewers would need to watch every approved project’s preview at least twice.

I see, I see.

So I am kind of finishing my work:) Will I have to submit everything (tutorial, assets, documentation, all files, preview etc) at once? Or am I permitted to submit tutorial AFTER my original projects passed the test?

P.S. I know I should read FAQ ’s at first:)

Videohive team dont see only the final result, but the after effects project too. And if you dont think that it is perfect (so far), how do you wait from others to accept it?

No nono, I think you got mw wrong. It’s perfect in every way:) However, videohive might think that this type of project is not “videohive style” and wont accept. I didn’t mean to apply a crapy project, I had in mind that concept of a project. You know :)

Sometimes rejection is not about the perfection. For example I worked on one project for two weeks, after that it was soft rejected, I fixed what was needed and then it was rejected because of totally different reason. And the project was good enough to be priced $25 :)

Is there “videohive style”? I dont think so. I had many rejections when I was starting here, and now I know that generally there was only one reason, “unprofessional style”.

that’s the one thing. that makes me mad about Envato. I remember, my friend was on AJ. he put all this time and effort. got soft rejected. he fixed what they told him to fix and then they deleted it all together. I don’t get that. it was awesome song! why do they do that? I mean, they say… fix these issues. fix it. then gets throw away. I don’t get that.

True. Rendertom, if you see that your project is cool… What is the problem? :)
