I don’t even understand, what else can be better than current Optical Flares…. It’s almost ideal right now. New GUI , super-fast GPU workflow speed?+1
I really don’t know what can they do to make it better… GUI is perfect. It already is super fast…![]()
Before we know it, AK will blow our minds
At least, it wouldn’t surprise me.

I have been paying way to much money to andrew lol
Maybe it will be fully compatible with Element in 3D space?
It’s already in 3D. Even if you used c4d file for element, you can always export lights from it to After effects and use them as light sources for Optical Flares…
Edit: I think, VC team achieved some super realistic results with OF, new GUI with a 10k number of settings to play with… Maybe added support for additional software like Nuke, Cinema4D, 3dmax for example… Right Andrew ?

Massfocus saidAnd I think that there will be missuses, because they can only apply new licencing rules to new version, but it will probably be impossible to tell in which version of OF pre-renders were made. And I must agree, I can’t think of any possible new feature for OF, so I can’t wait to see a demo or some teaser.
I’m guessing the licensing that applies for element 3d will also apply on this version of OF. Could be wrong though, just speculating.
Sounds great!
