Is it good to use recreated Olympic logo and include the same in source file in VH? Was not sure about it, but I doubt all media including broadcasting and print uses freely? What about here in VH, I wanted to add a Olympic logo which I recreated in my logo placeholder, Please let me know I am in the right side of the copyright laws?

You can’t use the olympic logo in a video preview or provide it in a after effects file. The olympic logo is an extremely copyright protected logo as well as the word “olympic”

actualy he can use word Olympic, this word same as word “shoe” cannot be forbidden and bought out because it is descriptive word to name something wich doesn’t have any other alternatives.

He can absolutely upload item with a name “Olympic Logo”

But you absolutely cannot use Olympic rings.

It feels like soon all the words will be copyrighted out there and we will not be able to communicate without written permission of copyright holders, lol :) Olympic games should symbolize freedom of mind, soul and spirit for everyone with good intention, not the restrictions. I made mine with the 100% love of sport and city which I live in.

Long story short, you can’t.
