I updated the preview picture after approval. Maybe thats the issue, but I would really appreciate if the devs look at it.

Definitely a bug, all old items are shown on the front page. Or the new system brings up the old ones, don’t see the point of this change.

The New Homepage Rotation System
We pick the 40 most recent authors to have an item approved, and their most recent item is shown. And again this would update every 15 minutes.

I am not seeing the newest 5 items on the frontpage right now.

As already written. The last new items have been published by regular authors (like you). Startpage shows recent author with recent items. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

We pick the 40 most recent authors to have an item approved, and their most recent item is shown. And again this would update every 15 minutes.So we should have 40 recent items from all categories and no two items from the same author. If what i said is wrong and UnitedThemes is right, than this change is messing things up.
EDIT : Oh my god!!! All themes are from new authors? THEMEFOREST WHAT IS THIS ?????????

The way I read this, it promotes fresh TF authors and their latest theme. To confirm, for me, the homepage also shows new authors. Ant (turkhitbox) is not there at all, even when refreshing at 15 min intervals…
Not that it impacts me, but is this the new Magento-hit?
