Yeah…. sorry pasted the wrong thing. I’ve tried
while(container.numChildren > 0) container.removeChildAt(0);
while(container.numChildren) container.removeChildAt(0);Why would I be able to hit the trace statement but the rest won’t trigger?

If you mean why your swf doesnt load, add the event listeners to the loader to see whats happening.
