Missing template in the forest

I am wondering who will be the first to build a wp theme which is for community based. For example, a gallery for people to upload their portfolio. So, its a theme which utilize/enhance the authors functionality in WordPress. It could be a free / paid registration. Then user can upload their portfolio there and have a nice profile page.

It can be extended to job board or even a firm portal though

This type of theme maybe too niche and do not generate good amount of sales, but if you submit that, I think we can consider a better pricing for that

What do you think? Or, do you have any other idea?

I know we have many talented programmers here and they all are willing to try something more challenging, right?

Interesting i might give a try.

We are working on something similar to this, but we know its too special for good sales, so we release it after our first two “standard” themes got accepted and the money starts rolling like wpCanyonThemes say.

It will be something like behance.net (functions), just with a complete other styling and some other nice features.

How high would the price be @kailoon?

I think a price that is higher than the normal $35 thats for sure. In condition, the design is good to meet TF requirements, you know, the attention to details, easy to use and stability.

Probably not But it’s good for experience, and it’s a nice little challenge.

You never know, it may not bring you the money directly, but I am sure you will get something from there, indirectly.

hehe, I uploaded a theme that works like Creattica but it was rejected by Sid[edit].., I think he cannot see the BIG SLIDER , and 3 boxes under the SLIDER in my theme so he reject it, LOL

4 months in development, i think i will not create something like this anymore..
