I’ve bought quite a few templates now it is time to use them lol. I’m looking for links to learn the basics,by this I mean adding footage at different times and audio at different points in the footage (e.g sound effects) and sound\video fading etc.
I have started doing green screen for footage and found it quite easy, the aim is to enhance the footage for the projects.
Free tuts or paid for ones, doesn’t matter I just want to learn.
Thanks in advance for any help.
I would start by looking on YouTube.
I don’t. Think you will find any on YouTube how to Place video or audio in the project the best I’d suggest buy a template of Inlifethrill he mostly covers all the aspects in his tutorial that’s why he is the best not only in creating design but making good tutorial
Thanks for the replies. If Inlifethrill can post a link to one of his files which definitely covers this I’ll buy it.

Hey man, I think that good basic technical knowledge of AE can be obtained studying the Videocopilot`s tutorials (www.videocopilot.net). About how to add footage in the project – each project is included the pdf user guide or video tutorial to show how to change text or insert footage. Good luck!

If there are quite targeted things that you’re looking for, then it might be worth signing up to a term on Lynda.com or a similar, paid-for learning package.
I hear that Videocopilot has some good beginner resources.
Adobe Exchange might be a good place to look.
@all. Shall we start making a list of learning resources to put in the Essential Resources thread?
