My opener was rejected. :( Apparently it does not meet VH Criteria, but that’s all it said. It did not specify what exactly was wrong. I think it’s neat-o! It looks all cartoony/comic booky… maybe that’s what’s wrong… I like it though.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I don’t think it has anything to do with the style. It’s just to simple, try add some camera movement to it, for example make the camera follow the arrow. Adding a wiggle expression to the camera will give it some more movement.

Another thing, what is the purpose of this project? How can people use it?

Don’t get me wrong it’s nice that your really proud of your project but it needs some more work and I think that’s the reason it got rejected.

Hopefully this is helpful and good luck.

Hm… It really doesn’t meet VH criteria. What is more, you should have not used that videocopilot finished things, like this arrows etc. Like @RMdeJong said before me, you shoud’ve use some camera movement, maybe more complex background, transitions etc.

Just take a look at videohive projects and think about what you don’t have in your projects, while VH has in its…

I Hope i was from help :)

Best Regards and go ahead!

The first thing that I noticed was the lack of uniqueness with the paint drippings. In addition, the paint doesn’t “naturally” appear on the canvas. Just my two cents.

Too much of completely different styles and effects in one composition.. Plus, those colors are not looking, say, quite good :)

I think the main problem is the fact that you haven’t been using After Effects for quite a long time, therefor resulting in a project that is below the standards they use on VideoHive.

I get the point that you want to make projects to help other people and earn some money with it but if I were you I would first get more knowledge, skill and experience in the program myself before posting your projects on VideoHive.

I wish you all the best in the future and hope to see some cool projects from you in the near future.

With kind regards,

Werrij
