Is there something that can check if a website is using a pre-made template?

Is there anything that can check if a website is using a pre-made template that is also available for resell on various free/paid template websites?

as for if its possible to tell if something is a template or not no not unless theres hints in the source code. could it be a template yes could it be custom yes you could always email the webmaster to find out

It’s custom. Nobody would buy a template that bad.

The elements in the flash just look so “pre-made.”

After doing some digging, NOPE . It’s NOT custom. We checked their images directory on their website at:

In particular, take a look at this file:

That is the key showing that the template was pre-made. It looks like something purchased off of template monster back in the day. Now, if only we can find the template they used. We’re trying to help a client locate the original template.

Yup that wreaks of Template Monster. Pretty sure I’ve seen it too. Unfortunately they made a gazillion templates like that with the “random metallic robotic objects”...in this case, a TV.

Seriously, that’s a free professional advice – this template just isn’t working for the content and for the user experience.
