Hi

I just got a project rejected because I used “Iphone” as a part of the item title. It’s now changed an is up and running on videohive, but I’m curious, I’ve seen several items with that term in their titles, is it a new “rule”?

Best Dan

Well, I wrote rejected, I meant soft-rejected. But still – that was one of the issues, and I wonder why…

Hard to say. Reviewing is not always 100% consistent.

As a rule, best to leave registered trademarks out of marketplace items completely.

(I’m moving this to item discussion)

well this should be fixed by the staff.

or we are allowed to use iphone (or whatever) in the item title or the other items need to be updated and have the copyrighted name out of the title.
