Hi guys,
Does anyone knows if we can have a signed/stamped and Scanned Income Proof while withdrawing by making a SWIFT transfer or something like that from the Envato Staff, the bank is requiring that document so we can get our money, otherwise it will stuck blocked there, it’s the law against money laundering…
Did anyone already faced that problem it’s urgent please.
Cgpation.

Try to contact Support via http://themeforest.net/support they will know the best, but AFAIK Envato doesn’t give any documents like that..

I use Paypal, and until now everything is ok. Is also the best solution for you I think, since the Envato SWIFT transfer is convenient for bigger sum of money.

Giallo, I also use Paypal, and I assume that it’s a very good way to get paid, but like you said, when you wanna transfer a kinda bigger sum, you gonna refer to it! so the bank keep asking for it, the question is >> Does any bank, asked that before (from the envato payment transfer of course)? I think they need to think about it, n’ guess that arrange a plenty of people wanting a big sum transfer.
Cheers.

From last year, while making SWIFT transfer to my bank (in India) they asked document that proves purpose of remittance. Contacted Envato support and the reply was no such arrangements available and the only such document is author statement page. But my bank didn’t accept it as proof.
Later I understood that as long as the sender adds a purpose in relevant format (that most fits govt’s list of categories / purpose code), local bank in my country doesn’t requires supporting document. So while making SWIFT request, I add an additional info to point the purpose to be entered and for the past 1 year, it works well. However this seems to be allowed only for business accounts and not possible with savings. Not sure how it works in your country though.
