Ok :) I don’t want to argue here, we may give the wrong impression

the stock projects that I have in mind for this plugin can’t be prerender anyway, so is a minor issue for myself.

But we should say that the technology is not bypassed since we paid for the plugin, and is true that the plugin doesn’t cost much comparing with C4d or 3dsMax but you can’t compare those software with Element 3D. Like Element 3D is awesome and I’m sure many people will love it (making all this prerender debate pointless ) but 3ds max or c4d is another level. :)

All good Doru, good luck with those projects! I didn’t mean to compare Element to a real 3D program only pointing out that you CAN pre-render with them if anyone needs to.

Thank You :)

You can’t compare Element 3D with those software also because none of them can load 3D objects inside After Effects and do the stuff Element 3D does. Very impressive. :)

Thank you to show up Mr Kramer.
You could allow pre render for B assets, like BG ,own environments (not from your lib) ,stuff like that.
At the end of the day who buy a file with a 3D element inside, (logo, extrude text, object) will NEED to have the plug in if they want to customize the file to their need
Just Not allowing the full prerender file make sense to me.
Very good job, and stunning results on this plugin.
Dowloading the update now :P

I hate prerendering, i always had and i always will.

You have to make separate Project Files for users with and without plug in and it takes time to prerender and then adjust the template to work without the plugs ins with the prerendered footage.

And since we must use Quick Time h264 compression under 500mb quality will never be as good as with the Plug In version of our template.

Which brings me to conclusion, i agree totally with you and i think the buyers should have element and it’s not expensive and it brings so much to the table.

But will that reduce the amount of sales? We will have to wait and see. So far i think a lot people bought it and many more will do…

Brilliant work on the plug in! ;) Will get the bundle with the next paycheck and i can’t wait to use it ;)

Please don’t create a template here. Please! :)

Anyways, appreciate the effort to come join us here and explain it yourself. I would do the same thing if I were you, especially the part that your technology is bypassed.

Haven’t got the chance to try out the plug-in yet. Will do in the near future.

All the best to you and thank you for producing an amazing product.

And again, please don’t sell a template here. :)

Element is a monumental stepping stone for After Effects, and the price-point is a real gift. My hats off to AK and the VC Team! Perhaps we’ll meet again!
