There’s been a lot of stuff going on recently about copyrighted images. Where do we stand with images that are supplied for press use in things like magazine templates. They’re press images and the document will be used in a magazine. See my magazine cover below, what do you reckon, is it a no go, or will it get through…

Well here are a couple of things. I do recognize, gears of war 3, as I have the Epic Edition of the game. Also I do suggest you change the name of the magazine even if its for preview Purposes. As “Gamer” already exists. Overall Concept is great thought I am in love with it. Oh and I don’t see a problem with you using the image, take a look @ [Link removed by Mod – Please avoid pointing out single item on the forums] everyone who is making gaming magazines

To put it short, No, one cannot use images from video games, photos of celebrities, stills from movies, etc .. Items submitted with these types of images/photos will be Soft Rejected.
