I’m quite sure there was a page on the old help/wiki with a counter displaying the current number of elite authors. Can’t find anything similar on the new support pages. Does that counter still exist somewhere?

I think this illustrates that “Top Authors” should be ranked by sales revenue and not sales count.

I agree. However then people would know how much top authors make with greater precision than now. Which, I assume, is not something many would like.
