How long do I have to improve my file?

Hey everybody.

So i submitted a file the other day and today it got soft rejected because the tutorial was in FLV which I have always done so I don’t know what the problem is now…But that’s not the main point: I just left for vacation and will be away from my computer for a week, how long do I have to improve my file?

I remember I saw somewhere on the forums about a guy having an item in soft rejection status for over a year or so. Haha. So I think you’re fine

yes , soft rejected file doesn’t remove until you delete it.

I thought that tutorials were allowed to be flv ? I read that somewhere here on vh a while back, and the reason given was that tutorials aren’t production files (which cannot be flv). Seems like an odd reason to soft reject… did I miss an update?

Exactly what i thought Andre, especially because i believe placdarms specifically told me thatvit shouls be flv. It would be nice to know if there has been an update.

Tutorials should be made in MP4 format.

Tutorials should be done in .mov .mp4 or flv format as far as i know, maybe you didnt render it correctly? I get soft rejected all the time last few files.. always forget the most obvious little things like watermark or formats.
