I have been using Headphones since i Graduated from Collage. I listen music Continuously when i work. I have a pair of Studio5 Audionic. Which has a thin and warm leather covering for ears. Sometimes, even in Air Conditioner i got a bit of sweating in my airs. I was ignoring this contentiously. But now i start hearing whistles in my ears. I am worried
Tonight i have a meeting with Doctor. I don’t know what he is gonna Diagnose. I want yew guys to Alarm! If yew are using big sexy headphones. Then be careful. Your Ears are more precious than anything
I sometimes use headphones, and if I use it, I keep the volume down. Oh and I am a drummer, I think thats my problem.
I’m using headphones but that’s mainly because i’ve got crappy speakers. But I never put the volume to loud.
Whistling should go away if you stop using headphones for a week or so, but do check with your doctor…
Some of my DJ friends had the same problem and had to cut down the headphone use. I don’t like using them, but I guess they help when you wanna shut off the outside world and concentrate on the work

EFEKT_Studio said+1 I also use a plugin called Redline monitor when I can’t use the studio monitors, it reduces the stereo separation emulating near field speakers
speakers ofcourse:
i use alesis mk2 monitor speakers, they rock… and sony mdr-7506 headphones… i use them at night when watching tv/movies; do work on pc w/speakers on
I used to use headphones all the time because it isolated me from everything else (kind of sad, yes?) but eventually switched over to some decent speakers because I was tired of putting headphones on/off all the time.
I like speakers better though
