Im very frustrated with after effects. Im to export for a video for youtube but am having issues. Ive spent the last 3 hours trying to figure this out and I cant seem to get it to work. It should be very simple and have done alot of googleing but no luck. I have a .png file and a .wav file that I import into AE. I place them both in the comp and then add them to the queue. under output mode I select mpeg2-DVD and make sure the audio output checkbox is selected. I then render everything to a m2v file but no sound! Can anyone help. Maybe a step by step of how to export a pic with audio in AE for youtube? Thanks guys!

Well when you import an image inside after effects into new comp the comp will be 1 frame long.
You have to press CTRL + K to go into composition settings and in the duration text box change the duration to the amount you need.
Then export like you did the last time and everything should be fine.
