Hi Everybody. I recently created an account on VideoHive and have uploaded a few simple animations to get the feel of the workflow.

Everything has been going smoothly, except that I cannot get my FLV video previews to play.

I’ve followed the specs for creating video previews, and the files are encoded as .FLVs, but none of my preview videos are currently working. When I try to play the preview on VideoHive, the loading graphic comes up, but then I get an error graphic, which I’m assuming means the preview isn’t linking to the FLV properly, or the file is encoded in the wrong format.

Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?!

Thank you! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Its good to contact the support. I think the Reviewers could have checked your Previews. Otherwise they couldn’t have approved it for sale on videohive. So i think there is nothing wrong with the FLV .

Thanks for the reply, but I already tried that! The response I got back from Support was:

“I’m very sorry but at support we only deal with general Marketplace issues; we do not provide technical support for individual files. You will need to contact the author directly on the individual file page for help. On each individual item page we provide users with the ability to leave comments and feedback for the author. On this page you are able to also ask the author questions regarding their file. Please advise if you require any further assistance.”

Well, unfortunately the author is me, and I don’t have the answer!

I will work on getting this taken care of. I sent Mark, the site admin links to the issue as well as Jason who overseas all the marketplaces. Feel free to contact me via my author page if you need any more info but i’m hoping we can resolve the playback issue quickly. sorry for the issue.

Thanks B

Fixing it now. The issue was with having the “&” symbol in your file name.
