I’ve got a friend who’s got 20/20 vision and has no need for glasses. But like all of us he works in front of a monitor all day and started getting migraines from eye strain. He picked up a pair of these Gunnar Gaming Glasses a few months ago and said that it actually helps reduce the strain quite a bit. I’ve been thinking about getting a pair myself. Can’t really justify the cost right now as I don’t have any eye problems YET . So I may just add this to my birthday wish list
. Might be worth looking into.

I thought the only people that could benefit from those glasses were progamers
with all the fast paced movement strain they put on their eyes for 5+ hours a day. I dont have any eye issues luckally even while i literally live with my pc.. but i would like to tryout those gunnars too when my budget allows me to.
I heard they are pretty relaxing.

From what I read, it’s not so much about the movement that these things help with. It’s more about the screen’s refresh rate and the glasses help reduce the eye strain.

Thanks for the suggestion Mark. I just ordered a pair of the Gunnar glasses and I’m going to try them out. My eye strain gets pretty bad and it tends to compound on itself until it becomes painful and annoying. If these glass help, it will be worth the investment. Thanks!
