think he’s referring to a sort of “sub-forum” for buyers and sellers to interact, a tad more organized than through the given comments section. Correct me if I’m wrong

A main reason is the interesting threads that were posted in ‘All Marketplaces’ wrongly, and belonged to an off-topic section. When we’d move it to the off topic section of the specific marketplace we were viewing from, nobody would ever find it again. Now, all off-topicness can be grouped together in the Global off-topic section 
My guess is that the old off-topic sections remain for legacy purposes?

@joost im not sure what the Definition of an ON TOPIC discussion in these marketplaces is.
1. Cant sell yourself
2. Cant talk about items
3. Cant do this that or the other.
In fact i cant define what on topic is. Merely because most topics are so taboo, tht it just becomes a menagerie of back patting.
Its just all too wooly.
Another bloody iritant, is … how come textbox doesnt autoresize when i edit, using iPad. Argghh

Yeah guys, since it’s Off Topic, I think we should have more freedom and if this happened, I would even agree if these threads don’t appear in the sidebar “Active Threads” because it can be annoying when authors start talking about their items. So if people want to see them, they go to the “Global Off Topic” directly.
