Element 3d Template Ideas -- what will authors produce first?

I spend most of my time on making the materials. I think the shaders are the added value. Making 3D and making animations is very easy in Element, so there is not much Videohive can add. Plus, indeed, you can not really automatically extrude logos (images) with Element.

So making 3D is very easy (and very fast), but making it look great is a little harder, and you need very good shaders for that (beyond the $100 pro shaders from VC) So I thought the shaders were the added value, and the animations are just a showcase what you can do with the materials. I would not call it crap…..maybe just simple

Anywho, the project was rejected anyways, no Element 3D yet on VH. But maybe a shader pack in the future, or pack of 3d objects that you can use in your projects.

I would be inclined to work a little on the animation. I understand about the shaders, but I think you’ll get better sales if the animation is a tad more impressive.

Outside of videohive, regarding 3D text and stuff like that, it can replace 3D application. +1 on this.

I’m not happy with it at all at first moment. Honestly didn’t have too much time to play around, but at first found a lot of troubles with it. Antialiasing is bad (I saw they’re fixing the problem), when I activate DOF I get weird black artifacts (not only me as I saw on the forum). Forget about 3D logo templates, I mean it’s gonna be very hard for videohivers since you have to insert a mask (precomp is out of question) and not AE traced, that’s rubbish, only fine mask from vector. Will check it out more soon, but for VH it’s waste of money for logo reveals and stuff.

Yep ! Cinema 4d + Thrausi plugin.
