I’m starting another Element 3d topic thread since the last one was derailed by piracy talk and foreign language.
Now back ON topic—for authors, any ideas on which element 3d-based templates you’ll create first? It might be wise to start with modest logo text easy-to-make ones, to test out market sales response; then do more fancy stuff later if sales are there… any ideas or thoughts, authors?
And from other buyers, what do you all think would be good to see for Element 3d templates? Please keep THIS thread on topic and a) english only and b) not talk of piracy. Thanks for respecting the Envato forum guidelines, in advance.
So let’s talk about this amazing new plugin, as it relates to templates. Seeing Andrew’s video tutorial on using it for text, it looks like the “best thing to ever happen to AE” for text creation and 3d modeling, so it should be interesting to see new templates.
Personally I’d like to see what top authors can create with it… you guys got any ideas? thanks…

I still haven’t gotten around to buying / trying. Been a bit tied up lately. But I guess using the 3D text for logo stings would be a good start. It’ll be interesting to see how it compares to CS6 ’s internal 3D. A lot faster, I imagine.

I wonder who will be first to try it
.. Another thing I am curious about is the pricing.
Since the more advanced projects will be including the 3D .obj files I imagine the price will be high.
right felt re logo stings; from this tutorial it looks really powerful and fast compared to text in c4d work: http://www.videocopilot.net/help/element/tutorial/basic/extrude_3d_text/ ... just a reminder suggest using either included textures or free source ones for material maps, since those dont require additional license/purchase. It’s an sensational new tool; in the hands of elite authors here you guys can make some really great templates without the huge prerenders that c4d based templates take

Finally found some time to watch product tour… really amazing. But, useless for videohive if prerenderers are not allowed. On the other hand, I completely understand AK.
A great work AK and his team..but the license is still confusing on videohive! Any way the top authors would come with really awesome ideas!

My guess is that they will start accepting projects with Element 3D when one or more reviewers will own the plugin so they can check your item.
